Artist in Action Residency At Ann Marie Gardens 

For Spring 2023, Sieva Smith was selected to engage in the Artist- In - Action Residency Program at the Ann Marie Sculpture Garden and Center. During her 4 day residency, Smith created 4 pieces inspired by her surroundings in Southern Maryland that were showcased at the Residency Art Show. 

June 19th 2023, Sieva Smith was among a selected small group of artist to exhibit for the Juneteenth Celebration at the Ivy Hotel.  Smith showcased work that  celebrated the importance of connectivity, unification and freedom. "It's important that I share how we are all universally connected and how through the awareness of this, we can continue to create and express freely together." The gallery walk was a part of an experience that showcased cuisines inspired by the African American diaspora. The entire experience cultivated community among its patrons at the Ivy Hotel.
