Hardwork  + Dedication
Series and Installations
(2023-2025)

Hard Work & Dedication is a mixed-media installation series honoring the unseen labor and resilience of everyday life. Using textiles, found materials, and gestural abstraction, the works embody cycles of fragility, endurance, and beauty embedded in collective human effort. Circular motifs and layered textures reference both performance and disappearance, marking how contributions are imprinted on memory yet often overlooked.

Community / Institutional Relevance:

Exhibited in multiple venues across Maryland, the series transforms ordinary objects into poetic forms that resist invisibility and assert presence. By centering overlooked labor as cultural memory, Hard Work & Dedication creates space for dialogue around value, dignity, and resilience in both civic and institutional contexts.

Crop Circles explores cycles of memory, labor, and presence through circular motifs and layered marks. Exhibited at the Port of Leonardtown Winery in partnership with the St. Mary’s County Arts Council, the series situated abstraction within a community and environmental context. As part of the larger Hard Work & Dedication arc, it extends themes of fragility, presence, and labor into circular form.
